You can remember all of his tells and attack patterns and still get screwed if he performs a fireball attack when you are too close to the wall or if you jump attack him and are off by just a little bit. The bosses in this game are much harder than any of the other TMNT game boy games and these damageless achievements should be worth more points even if fixed (if using Fall of the Foot Clan and Back From the Sewer as a scale)ĭealing With Shredder (25) - This achievement is even more ridiculous than I thought and should be worth 50 or maybe even 100 if fixed to allow passwords and continues.
If going for these, you should practice the final boss rush to remember their patterns and learn how to react to them. The first four boss damageless achievements aren’t that bad since you are allowed to use your two continues if you mess up.
I am guessing it was easier to find the addresses needed for finding a point cap and for using specific password was easier than finding an address for the player’s maximum health. The 25,000 points (which is what the boss rush total earns you) require you to use a password and I am not sure why this point cap is necessary. The Home Stretch (25) - This achievement is essentially for beating the final boss rush without any health upgrades (but you can stock a pizza). The 300,000 fork in the road achievement is a pretty good achievement since it is close to the amount of points you would get playing normally in one sitting without using a continue.
(What I am saying is this one should probably be demoted) I found a nice place on the way to rescue Splinter where three foot soldiers spawn quickly, but it still took around an hour to get enough points where the boss rush would take you over 500,000.
